While volunteering together at a concert last week, colleague Helen shared a great tip to help families decide “who gets what” when the time comes. Is your family like many others, with a parent or two in one location (or maybe two), and children scattered in others? You might use technology to help. Take photos of objects that more than one person may want and email them around, with a deadline for responding. Once you have a record of the wanted items, it can be easier to discuss them and decide.
